Designing and implementing experiments can often be challenging, especially during the one's early efforts. I’ve learned from experience that it’s not always easy to have the resources or know-how to streamline the process.
This is why I’ve decided to share my insights and walk through some of the oTree code I’ve used in my own experiments—code that I believe can provide significant value for fellow experimental economists.
The goal of the blogs in this section is not to teach the full process of building oTree experiments from scratch but rather to provide targeted tutorials on specific elements.
These elements are techniques and methodologies that I have found to be useful in my work. The main focus is improving upon common experimental measures.
Please note, this content is not a step-by-step course in Python, HTML, or Java. Some prior knowledge of these languages is helpful. I aim to present examples that are accessible but still grounded in the practical challenges of running economic experiments.
